We just got back from our very first family vacation with just us -- well, and our good friends, the Brownings. It was the kids' first time as well as mine, too. I know. I know. Crazy, huh. But, we had a good time and got to see everything and do everything. We had a really good time.
As you can see, Gabbie had a harness on. She fought it every single day she had to put it on. It was totally worth it because we had the peace of mind that we knew exactly where she was at all times. She has a tendency to take off running when she gets on the ground and she never looks back. One day I was explaining it to my mom and then I realized, "I totally deserve her." I got lost more than once and would freak out my mom when I would hide in the clothes' racks at the store.

We learned really fast that Davis liked it much better when we were on rides that were outside and not inside in the dark with loud music...which is about 80% of them. =) We dragged him on a few, but he just wasn't having fun. So, we stuck to the outside and we lots of fun. Luckily, we were able to trade with the Brownings and go back one night just Bob and I to go on the bigger rides.
As you can see below, Davis didn't meet any of the characters. I guess he feels a lot more comfortable seeing them on his TV screen in the comfort of his own home. =)
