Library Buddies

We saw Lauren and Chase at the library for story time last Thursday. On the way out Davis and Lauren grabbed hands, so I was glad I had my camera so I could capture this cute cousin moment.

So Tired

Gabbie had a big morning and only made it through a little bit of lunch. She was so sleepy.
Because we've had lots of things going on in the mornings lately, Gabbie has been missing her morning nap, so she is always so tired after, or during in this case, lunch.

Come back, Grandma, COME BACK!!!

This didn't take long I'm sorry to say. We all miss Grandma. =) Thanks, Mom, for all that you did. I REALLY, really appreciate it.

Last day with Grandma!

Fortunately, my mom was able to come and help take care of me and the kids while I was recovering from surgery. We went to the park for one last hurrah with Grandma before she had to fly back to Washington. We sure miss her. Davis keeps on asking for the airplane. He wanted to go with Grandma to see Grandpa. =)

Some kids were out on the playground for PE or recess and I think Davis wanted to join in. Just a few more years, bud! =)

Surgery

I had my wisdom teeth pulled last Tuesday and the next day my cheek kind of flared up. This is actually on it's way down. At it's prime I looked like Martin Short when he got stung by a bee in "Pure Luck."

First Photo Shoot

So, I did it. I took the plunge and got a new camera and here was my first impromptu photo shoot. Chase came and got his haircut, so I thought I would capture it on film. He's such a cutie and here are my favorites.
I like this one cause I got a tear. So sad. =(
And here, Lauren and Davis are running around and dancing. I'm not sure how I got this one to turn out, but hey, I'll take it.
I'm definitely going to have to take some classes so I can know what I'm doing. With the camera in my hands, I may look like I know, but not so much, yet. =)

Therapy via Volleyball

So, I've been without our camera since Easter since I left it at Bob's brother's house. I've been wanting to show you the kids, but we'll have to wait a few more days, weeks, ... I don't know.

Anway, I did want to tell you how much fun it has been to get together with other ladies in the stake and play volleyball every Wednesday night this past month!!! Sports were such a big part of my life growing up that it's like having an old best friend back. I know it sounds cheesy, but it's true. Once I get into that gym I feel like my old self again. I hope the ladies don't mind my loud, obnoxious trash talk, but it feels good. =) I love being able to put the kids to bed and then go have some fun and be silly (And trust me, by 10 pm or so, I'm not the only one who's a little loopy). =) It's a different kind of fun because I have such a blast with my little munchkins. You mothers know what I mean. I think it helps to get a little time to ourselves so we can become our better selves and better mothers.
