Davis' Birthday!

Davis has the advantage of always being with lots of cousins for his birthday since it's 2 days after Christmas on the 27th. He was very excited to open more presents!! I tried to form the cupcakes into a '4'. I can't believe how fast the time goes. He's already 4 years old!! It's really fun to see how much he's growing up, though. I love how he's talking more so we can have conversations. I love to hear what comes out of his mouth. He cracks me up! And smart, too. He's also becoming more comfortable in social situations. He used to be very, very shy, but he does better now. It seems like we don't want our kids to grow up, but then again, it's pretty exciting to watch them grow, gain knowledge and experience, and be able to do more for themselves. Interesting how that is, huh?!

Love that smile!!

Christmas Recap

The Wii was a big hit, of course. Bob's sister's family got MarioKart and we were playing that very late into the night and morning, too. =)
Gabbie really liked a toy dog that her cousin got. I wonder if she thought it was really real.

When Davis is excited but embarrassed about it he gives us this look as tells us to be quiet. Sorry dude, you'll just have to get over it. =) We're going to get excited for you. =)

This kids waiting to come down the stairs for Santa's gifts.

Taking her dolly for a walk in her new stroller.

Supergirl!!

Davis really attached himself to his cousin, Aubree. It was really cute. He would even want to sleep in her room. It was very sad when he said goodbye. He gave her a big hug and walked off with his head down. Then, after walking alittle while he turned to look back. How cute! And sad, too. We'll have to have Aubree fly out sometime so he won't miss her too much.

Christmas Eve

Here's all the Brandi cousins anxiously awaiting the time when they can open some presents. We open presents from each other Christmas gifts to make room for Santa gifts around the tree on Christmas morning.
Davis loved being with his cousins. He especially loved his older cousins who he would call "mom" and "dad." He would come up to me and say, "Mommy, where's my moms?" And then I would say, "Uh... I'm right here. " Then he would reply, "No, my other moms."

Gabbie was off and on being happy about the whole thing.

And Davis didn't want to hear about it.

Nativity

Gabbie was very cute and tender with putting "baby Jesus" in the manger.
So much love. =)

Davis wanted to have his turn putting someone in the manger, so he picked the giraffe. He did a great job with goodnight kisses and all.

Davis' new love

Before the Christmas break, we went bowling with our Joy School and Davis fell in love. He couldn't wait for his turn each frame. Bob took him the next Saturday morning, even.
As you can imagine, Gabbie wanted in on the action. She was all over the bowling alley and so quick, too. I have to keep going to the gym if I'm going to keep up with this one. =)

Christmas... finally.

Christmas started with some gingerbread making. Thank you to our friends that invited us over for a fun night.
Not bad for our first time. Gabbie couldn't wait too long before picking off the roof. =)
