Just Waking Up

Here is Lincoln just waking up from a nap. This is mostly for my parents on their mission, but it was taking too long to download onto an e-mail. So, you all get to enjoy. =)

Baby Talk

Lincoln is so cute when he mimics us. The kids love to help entertain him and try to get him to talk.

Gabbie cracks me up in this video, too, with her being her strong-willed self.

First School Days

Davis is LOVING school. On his first day.

Reading to the classroom bear, Fuzzy Bear.

First field trip to Bishop's Pumpkin Farm. He was so excited to ride the bus. =)

He's Mobile!

He went from sitting up to getting in the ready position too soon. I couldn't take advantage of the sitting up and entertaining himself time for very long.
Come and get me!

So tired from all the hard work.

Showoff!

I love this. Sometimes he takes a break and then checks what is behind him. So cute.

WHAT!?!?! Now standing up already!! Slow down, boy! Slow down!!

There's no stopping him now.

Reunion in Utah

We went to Ogden a fun family reunion. It's my mom's parents and family. We went back to the Red Moose Lodge and had an awesome time. Gabbie feeding a horse an apple at the local petting zoo.
My sister having fun with Lincoln -- he's having a good time, too. =)

My grandpa and grandma. Don't they look great!?!

Water fun on the lake!

The whole gang. What a bunch of crazies.

Davis was beyond excited that they had a horse ride at the petting zoo.

Gabbie finally agreed to wear a lifejacket so she could ride in the boat.

Fun with cousins.

Gabbie with Grandpa's hat.

For some reason I always end with this kid. He's so dang cute.

Happy Birthday to Amy!

The 5K was at an indoor go-karting place and in our goodie bags was a 2-for-1 coupon, so we decided to celebrate Amy's birthday with some fun with just us adults. We left the kids with some babysitters and it was party time. Cute Birthday Girl!
Waiting until race time!

Dad being fun and silly - those are the caps for under the helmets.

The jumpsuits were a tad warm, but really got you into the right mindset for racing. I think it made me go faster. =)

Boys humoring us by putting on jumpsuits, too. =)

Fun at the Park

Our last afternoon in WA was spent at the park. The kids had a great time swinging and playing.

Lincoln was excited to see his daddy again.

8K

The 2nd Saturday I was there was an 8k in Olympia. My mom and I ran it together and she did awesome!!!! I hit my goal again: under 50 mins (45:56 to be specific)!!
She's so cute. Look how excited and happy she is when she crossed the finish line!

You're awesome, MOM!!! I've always hoped to be just like you! 8k under 50 mins. -- enough said.

At the start. What a fun thing to do with my mom!! Thanks, Dad, for coming and supporting us!!! You're the best!

Off to the Races!

I wanted to take advantage of some racing events while in WA. The first Saturday there was a 5k for the Tumwater Pioneer Days. Warming up.
Ready, Set, Go...
My goal was to finish under 3o minutes.

27:43 baby!

It was tough, but SO worth it. =)

Awards! Amy and I got 3rd in our age divisions and Lauren got first in hers and 2nd female overall. Yahoo for small races!!!

Water Works in WA -- the good kind. =)

We had awesome weather for our WA trip. After dinner on the porch one night, the kids got their suits on and ran through the sprinklers.

Gabbie couldn't take the time for her suit.

Lincoln splashing and loving the water.

Summer Catch-Up

Me and the kids had a fantastic trip to WA to visit family while Bob was in Denver for school. Here we are enjoying the beach at the bottom of my parents' property.

Love this boy!
