1 month

Lincoln is one month already! We had a little photo shoot, since I forgot to get some when he was brand new. He had a doctor's appointment at 3 weeks and doing well. He now weighs 8 lbs 2 oz. (23rd percentile). I was glad to see him put on some weight since he lost so much in his first few days. It's strange for me to have a little little one since the first 2 were always in the 85th percentile and above. I'm sure he'll pack it on and catch up very soon. Either that or he'll still be able to hold his own and be able to keep up with his older brother and sister. He really has no choice, actually. =)

He is our little sweet, calm boy.

I was using Gabbie's blanket for him to lay on, but she decided she wanted it back. I guess we're done.

Good Times

I heard laughing and giggling in Lincoln's room. I always love to hear it, but there's always that fear that maybe it could be because they are being mischevious or destructive. Luckily, it was neither, and Lincoln wasn't taking a nap and being woken up by his older siblings.
Too much fun. =)

A Break in the Clouds

A couple weeks ago we had a break from the rain and the kids were really needing to get out. Luckily, Lincoln was taking a good nap inside and we had some fun outside and enjoyed the sunshine. Love Gabbie's ensemble finished off by her pink rainboots.
Having fun hiding behind the rosemary bushes. I always know when they've been outside when they come in smelling like rosemary.

Peek - a - boo!

Davis found his buddy ladybug, "Spots."

Dimples

HE IS SO CUTE!!!!

Phototherapy

I needed to take Lincoln back to the hospital after his bilirubin test Monday (8th) came back really high. He went under the phototherapy lights in the afternoon and would only come out so I could feed him. So, we spent another 36 hours or so in the hospital so his bilirubin could be at a comfortable level. We think he was a little behind from the beginning since he was so tired after delivery and wasn't waking up to eat a lot. Since he was then dehydrated, he was producing the bilirubin faster than he was metabolizing it. The lights and keeping him hydrated really helped.
Luckily, he didn't mind being in there at all. Towards the end of his treatment, I could tell that he was getting a little tired of it. I was wanting to hold him more, too, so I'm glad we only had to stay one night.

Lincoln Dominic Brandi

He's here!! Lincoln Dominic Brandi was born Saturday morning, February 6th at 6:44 am. We got to the hospital and he was coming so quickly that there wasn't time for drugs. It was quite unexpected, but the recovery afterwards has been pretty nice. I now have had 3 completely different labor and delivery experiences (cesarean, induction & epidural, all natural). Crazy. He's our smallest of the 3. He was 6 lbs. 11 oz. and 20 inches long.
Such a sweetie from the very beginning. The proud big brother and big sister!!

Ready to come home.

Davis is 5 already!!

I can't belive we have a 5 year old. In less than a year he'll be starting Kindergarten. Crazy. Time flies. Davis turned 5 just after Christmas. We had fun opening presents with cousins and eating a yummy chocolate cake that my sister made. I still need to scan Davis' baby pictures, but here are a few of his younger years.
Bob has always made sure he looked sharp on Sundays.

What a happy kid!

And a good eater, too.

He loves to ride horses.

And swim, too.

Yee-haw!!

So silly, too.

So handsome.
And such a good big brother. He's really excited for his new baby brother to come soon. He reminds me he's going to need a doctor's mask and gloves to help the doctor take the baby out. He's such a good helper.
Happy Birthday, DAVIS!!! We love you!!
