Calling all moms of little girls!

I know it's a little soon, but Christmas is right around the corner. I wanted to get a head start on things since December is a big month for us with Christmas, our anniversary, and Davis' birthday!! But, I'm a little stuck with what to get Gabbie. What do I get for her? She's into whatever Davis is into, so I'm a little lost. She'll be 18 months next week and 2 years old in April.
I need your help! Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
Love,
A mom who's not that girly herself and had a son first. =)

Good for your starting your shopping early!!!! I am trying to think of the girl things that Loren has that she likes because she is like Gabby in that she likes everything her big brother has. Anyways - her favorite girl things are her stroller and doll, her cash register (loves to push buttons), dress up clothes, and dishes (tea sets or any kitchen cooking food, etc). Does she have a kitchen??? Just some thoughts. I can't wait to see what others suggest@!

Kylie will be turning 3 soon. Some of her favorites are My Little Pony & Littlest Pet Shop. She also loves anything to do with Disney Princesses!

Hi Guys! I feel pretty qualified to answer this question :)! The girls at that age have LOVED their baby dolls. The fisher price Little Mommy collection is the best. The dolls and toys are made well and the dolls are the best to hold. You can get strollers, high chairs, beds, bottles, car seats, clothes...etc. I've also made little blankets/quilts that they use just for their dolls. Emma has also loved the Fisher price snap n' style girls. They are super cute dolls where the clothes just snap on very easily. I also agree with the tea sets and play food, and dress-up clothes (crowns, bracelets, hairbrushes, purses, necklaces, feather boas, tu-tus)...all lots of fun. Also, the fisher price (you'd think I was an FP sales girl) Little people. There are pink castles, houses, airplanes, cars, farms. The girls have also liked the painting with water books (and I like them too, less mess at that age :)). Along with the dress-up things...little purses or diaper bags. The girls love to "pack" snacks, bottles, etc...for the "outings" with their dolls. So, that's my list of cute girl stuff...sorry so long :)!!!

I love the kitchen dishes idea. My kids love the dishes and pots. We had a kitchen but it came down to no room and my kids still use the dishes.
Small baby dolls are also great.

Grace got a kitchen for her 2nd birthday and I don't think a day has gone by that the kids have not touched that thing. It's fun for the whole family,(especially Andrew when Grace is at school). Goodluck!

I don't know many kids that age who don't like Little People... and they've got girl sets, boy sets, and gender neutral.

I haven't read the other comments, but she needs a great babydoll. One with a soft body and no hair...she can giver hugs and the hair always gets nasty.

That is what I would recommend.

Hey Bec, I am getting Grace her own baby doll and stroller so she can push it around. I think Gabbie would totally love that too.

Hey! The kitchen stuff is a great idea and all the little baby dollies. Something Ashlynn loves are her dress up shoes! We got them at Costco...it's a box of six pairs of princess shoes. They are a huge hit! My 18 month old niece loves them too. They are a little big but work just fine. They walk all over the house in them and change pairs all the time. Happy shopping:)
